Lugoff is a thriving community with many friendly people. It is the Hometown of well known singer, Brook Benton: and others have launched out from this location to achieve their goals in life. But there's nothing like the coming home to relax and look around. Folks are moving into this area to make their homes, while in the process of educating their Children. Those that have grown-up here, they all have a story to tell concerning the good old days. The Wateree River seperates Lugoff from Camden, therefore, people are crossing the Wateree River bridge to visit one another quiet often. Come, let's learn more about this enjoyable little town.

The Lugoff Post Office (29078) is one of the best anywhere. They serve this community with kindness and are doing all they can to get every piece of mail or package delivered on time. Just off the main drag on #40 Plaza Drive, you will find this lovely little spot on God's Green Earth. Gail, Crystal, Jane, Robbie, Heather and the entire staff will greet you with a caring smile and good attitude even on the busiest or hottest day. This is not just a great place to visit, but friends and neighbors will tell you that this is where they plan to stay, even if they have to live in their van, down by the river! Even the Kershaw County Sheriff Department has it's headquarters in downtown Lugoff. We thank Sheriff Matthews and his team of officers for their service of protection.
